Work Package two has 2 parts it is aimed at high school learners. In part 1 we aim to empower learners to see the importance of a good education and to become career-driven individuals. By assisting them to find a working balance between various school subjects and extramural activities, we will develop their time management skills. We will also instill confidence and work ethic by presenting relatable experiences of students within the program.
In part 2 we spread awareness about post-school opportunities and available funding as well as assisting learners with the application process. We will assist them in making a decision about their future by offering resources needed to do applications as well as assistance.
Implementation
Part 1: We will be visiting schools to create awareness of the programs we offer. Learners can then contact us for support and resources.
We will expose learners to additional resources and offer academic and career guidance through choosing subjects that best suits their interests and passions.
Part 2: We will be visiting schools to create awareness of the programs we offer. Learners can then contact us for support and resources.
We will provide the necessary resources in order to make a decision on which career to follow, by inviting guest speakers from various fields and institutions to discuss their experiences and opportunities available.
There will be all the necessary equipment, resources and guidance to complete all applications.
